Widow sponsoring
Because of the war, there are lots of widows who need help in Katachel and the neighbouring villages. They don't have the money to feed their children. We support them with sponsorships. German families pay 26 EUR a month, and that's enough for one widow to feed herself and her children. In this way, these children can also go to school.
We have more than 310 sponsorships, but lots of other woman also hope to be helped.

Flood 2009
When, on Mother's Day 2009, the river rose in the village Katachel by 6 feet, not only because the bridge was damaged and 54 houses were destroyed, so that 408 people were left homeless. With the help of the Foreign Ministry and the donors of many people could be helped with blankets, mattresses, tents and bread.

A dairy cow for a particularly needy family
